Mediation Terms

Once a date is reserved, additional information and mediation logistics will be sent to counsel. This will include the Agreement to Mediate that is to be executed by everyone who will be participating in the mediation session.

Payment is requested at least thirty days prior to the mediation session in order to confirm the selected date.

Single Plaintiff - Single Defendant:

$8,500 for a full day mediation conducted on Zoom. A full day mediation consists of up to two (2) hours of preparation and an eight (8) hour mediation session. Additional billing for extensive preparation, additional mediation time, or follow-up will be submitted when appropriate at the rate of $875 per hour.

$5,000 for a half-day mediation conducted on Zoom. A half-day mediation consists of up to two (2) hours of preparation and a four (4) hour mediation session. Additional billing for extensive preparation, additional mediation time, or follow-up will be submitted when appropriate at the rate of $875 per hour.

Class Action / PAGA / Complex Cases - $14,000 per day.

Multi-party matters (three parties or more) are charged a multi-party rate depending on the number of parties.

In-person mediations may be subject to additional costs.

The parties agree to share the fees equally unless a separate agreement has been reached.

The entire mediation fee may be charged if the mediation is cancelled for any reason within thirty (30) days of the scheduled mediation date.

The parties and their counsel acknowledge that they are jointly and severally liable for all fees assessed in the mediation process.
